St. Louis, MO

Craig Rivard is the executive chef and co-owner of Little Fox, a critically acclaimed neighborhood restaurant located in St. Louis’ Fox Park. Born and raised in St. Louis, Craig started his culinary journey washing dishes at a local restaurant, but his passion for food quickly propelled him into the kitchen. He furthered his culinary education at the prestigious Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York.

Craig honed his skills working in renowned New York restaurants, including Gotham Bar and Grill and Brooklyn’s beloved Diner and Marlow & Sons, where he learned the art of simplicity in cooking, focusing on high-quality, local ingredients. These experiences shaped his culinary philosophy, emphasizing creativity, sustainability, and elevated comfort food.

Before founding Little Fox, Craig ran the kitchen at Clover Club in Brooklyn, where he fine-tuned his menu development, management skills, and understanding of balancing complex flavors with simple presentations.

At Little Fox, Craig brings his vision of warm, approachable dining with an elegant twist, offering dishes that highlight his passion for seasonal ingredients and thoughtful preparation. Alongside his wife and business partner, Mowgli Rivard, Craig has created a welcoming space that feels both sophisticated and comforting, reflecting their global influences from time spent in Europe and New York.
